In 2019, Hebei Huami New Material Technology Co., Ltd. applied to establish the Hebei Special Rubber Industry Technology Research Institute, with approval from the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The construction goals were successfully achieved in 2021 and passed the acceptance inspection. The institute received an 'Excellent' rating in the 2021 operational performance assessment.
The research institute primarily engages in the research and development of key technologies in the special rubber industry, technology transfer and commercialization of scientific achievements, industrial technical services, talent introduction and cultivation, and strategic research for industrial development. The institute currently has over 100 staff members, including 16 individuals with master's degrees or above, 11 holding senior professional titles, and 17 with intermediate professional titles.
